What can I expect at my first consultation?

During your initial consultation we will assess your concerns, begin treatment and develop an ongoing plan if necessary. The appointment will take approximately 45 minutes. If you have any recent x-rays or ultrasound results of your feet and legs please bring these with you to your appointment. If you have orthotics please bring them and the shoes you usually wear them in.

Will it be painful?

Surprisingly most of the treatment Podiatrists offer is not painful.  Your Podiatrist will be sure to advise you on your treatment expectations before going ahead with anything.

Do I need a referral?

You do not need a referral but if you have one from a health professional, please bring it with you to your appointment.

Can I bring in an existing ACC claim number?

We can use an existing, unexpired ACC number, provided it pertains to the issue you are seeing us for.

Will my private medical insurer cover the cost of the treatment?

Often Podiatry is covered, please check with your insurer before booking an appointment.

How can I pay for my appointment?

Cash, credit, eftpos and internet banking.

Is there parking nearby?

Parking is outside the building or close by in the community centre car park or in surrounding streets.
