I have worked as a Podiatrist for 20 years and have covered all areas of Podiatry throughout my career. I am fulfilling my purpose of helping, caring and providing quality service to every patient I serve.
I commit to treating each patient with a holistic approach. Our feet are our foundation and are the window into our body. I like to tap into my network of allied health professionals - it is critical for total care to involve other services at the right time.
I am passionate about what I do and I care deeply that treatment outcomes are successful.
My husband Matthew and I have 2 beautiful boys. We enjoy spending time as a family. Things we do together include music, sport, skiing, kayaking and boating.
Personally, I enjoy catching up with friends and family, singing with my barbershop chorus and biking.

I gained a BSc in Physiology from the University of Auckland in 2019 and graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a BHSc in Podiatry in 2022.
I became a Podiatrist because I wanted to work in a health field where I could provide a high-quality cohesive service. I enjoy building relationships with patients and developing successful treatment plans that suit individual needs.
I provide a range of Podiatric care at Foot Worthy, from general care through to sports, and diabetic care. As well as working in the clinic I enjoy getting out and about providing care in a diverse range of satellite clinics.
Outside of work my interests include Taekwon-Do and
weightlifting. I play several instruments and enjoy listening to a range of music styles.
Kyra Jeanson
Foot Care Practitioner
I immigrated to New Zealand in 2014 from South Africa.
I have experience in administration, working in a variety of different fields, including working as an assistant in the dental industry.
I enjoy having the ability to provide high quality treatment ensuring every patient I see leaves feeling happy and confident.
As a Foot Care Practitioner, I focus on general and diabetic foot care, post operative recovery, assisting with fitting orthotics, formthotics and modifications.
In my spare time I enjoy going on road trips and adventures with my dogs Lomo and Nala, camping, surfing, going out on my boat and fishing, drawing and playing guitar.

I have joined Foot Worthy Podiatry after many years working in secretarial and administrative roles for banks, private sector, laser and injectable cosmetic industry, Osteopaths and Podiatry in my last job. I enjoy working in a team environment and especially in the health sector, caring and helping people. This is really rewarding for me.
In my free time, I love catching up with family and friends. I enjoy the outdoors, working around the house painting, gardening, walks, picnics and drinks on the deck!

I have had a varied career including administration, television production, charity development and team co-ordination. I am delighted to be part of the Foot Worthy Podiatry team from the beginning.
Originally from Ireland but now an Irish Kiwi and proud mom of two. I have been living in Wellington for nearly 16 years with my husband Alex. I enjoy spending time with friends, music, gardening, personal development and supporting our children's activities. My personal mantra is to be kind and caring.
